After many years producing a wide range of outdoor pottery items, each with enthusiasm and skill, Enid changed her creative direction and began a passion for textile arts. Enid loves the vibrant colours as well as the subtle shading she creates in each of her original hand-painted silks. Her work includes scarves, pictures and hand painted and hand quilted cushions. Recently Enid has been working with silk velvet and silk devore velvet which provide increased depth to her designs, layering the textures of the velvets with the designs and colours of her paintings. Enid’s work has been collected locally and internationally and she has regularly exhibited in the annual Southern Highlands Textile and Fibre Network Inc. exhibitions.
